Studio 2015 writes french quotes «Guillemets» insted of "double quotes". How can I stop this?

What is the target language of your project? The type of quotes that are inserted is dependent on your target language and if it is French, then this would be correct.

«xxx» quotes is standard Spanish autocorrect behaviour. If you don't want to use them, simply disable "Replace straight quotes with smart quotes" under File>options>Editor AutoCorrect.

… but depends on the locale Spanish. For Spanish Mexican and others, curly quotes (“”) are used instead of Guillemet ones («»).
I checked that some months ago with the trial version of Studio 2015, and still don't know the reason…
