Loss of TUs when converting server-based TM to file-based TM

Dear colleagues,

I had to convert several server-based TMs under SDL Trados Studio 2014 into file-based TMs.
The process went smoothly but when I compared the number of translation units in the server-based TM and in the newly created file-based TM, I found that a couple of hundres were lost (out of roughly 130.000).

I had *not* clicked on any filter and had not asked to overwrite existing units...

Does anyone know what happened?

Does Studio automatically delete double entries, for instance?

Thank you!

... which explains why you get less TUs.
