Some of my clients have their own not-so-good online CAT tool and I’m used to export xlf files from there into Studio. I can then successfully import my translation into the CAT. I never had any problem with the workflow when it comes to translation. However reviewing in Trados a xlif file translated in another CAT tool is a real nightmare. Did you find any workflow that is working for you?
How do you import it in the first place? Importing the file in a Project always has to go through the pretranslation step which makes no sense when you want to review.
How do you do it?
