Use of X bench reports in Trados Studio 2014

Hello
I have been asked by a client to run an Xbench report. I work with Trados Studio 2014 and they advised me that there is a plug-in in Trados Studio to run it.
I have googled it but don't know how to do this.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Xbench 3.0 and SDL Trados Studio 2014 Mar 16, 2016

Hello,

The Xbench plugin for SDL Trados Studio 2014 requires Trados Studio 2014 or later.

The plugin also requires Xbench 3.0 to be installed on your computer. Do the following:

1. Go to http://www.xbench.net/index.php/download.
2. Download and install the latest build of Xbench 3.0. It is available in 32-bit and 64-bit edition.

3. Close Studio. Download and install ApSIC Xbench Plugin for SDL Trados Studio 2014/2015 - Build 12.
4. Run Studio.

You should see the Xbench icon on the ribbon.

I've now installed the plugin but am getting the following error message:
'could not find xbench at to launch it. is it installed? if not download it from www.xbench.net. the xbench project file for qa has been created it (it gives me a link to my c:/users (but I can't find anything there...)

does anyone know what I could do?

The plugin is just a quick way to access Xbench from within Studio. The plugin is free, but Xbench is not.

No I haven't
The agency stated the following for the deliverables:
1. Translated bilingual files
2. Xbench report

when I told them I worked with Studio 2014 they said it was fine and I could install the plugin!

You can try Xbench 3.0 for free during 30 real days of use (not calendar days). You should have plenty of time to decide whether Xbench suits your needs.
