I have a new computer and naturally want to return my licenses so as to be able to use them on the new machine.

So I logged in - and got stuck. There was a link to a video, but there was little resemblance to my screen when the point where I am stuck was reached so that got me no further.

The problem may be that I still have XP and also have not updated since 2011, but I simply have to get support for this, because as I am sure everybody knows, XP is no longer supported.

If one is unable to deactivate online, off-line deactivation is recommended, but to do that I need some kind of certificate that I am unable to generate.

Oh, there was something about a service contract, but that was only for people with the latest version. Great!

Can anybody help?

You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2011 and SDL Trados Studio 2014.

Go to KB article #5196 ( http://kb.sdl.com/kb/article?ArticleId=5196 ) and follow the instructions.
