Translating Arabic sacnned documents using SDL Trados

Dear translators,

I have been looking all over the place for a software or any other way to be able to translate Arabic scanned documents using SDL Trados but to no avail. The kind of documents I am working on right now contain many repetitions and it is really hard to work fast enough because I can't capitalize on previous translations. If you have found a way to be able to translate this kind of documents with SDL Trados, please let me know.

You must convert them into editable format Apr 19, 2016

Abbyy Finereader 12 Pro recognises also Arabic. SDL Studio only works on character based file formats like Word, Excel etc.

I had look at the software description and saw that Arabic is among the languages recongnized. I will download the trial version to see how accurate it is. I hope it will work.

Can you please tell me about your experience of translating Arabic scanned documents after trying SDL Trados Studio, because i was thinking about a solution to this issue.
