If I'm using 2 TMs in Studio 2014 is there a way to display which TM the various concordance results are from so I know which result is from which TM?

At the mo they seem to be bundled together without any indication of which TM the various results come from.

If anyone knows if this is a feature available on Studio 2015 or if it will be implemented on a future version I'd also like to know.

Thanks

Concordance results are displayed by relevance, so they come from any TM in your project so long as you've ticked "concordance" lookup for each TM in the project settings.

You can see which TM a concordance hit comes from immediately below the result: TM name, date and time of entry, and author.
You can only see these details of the concordance result that has the current focus (i.e. the first, or another if you've clicked on it).

Studio 2014 and 2015 behave the same way.

Thanks Emma, that's really useful.

I hadn't thought of clicking on the various segments, but now I see the yellow ribbon shows which TM the segment came from and the date, etc.

Only translation results, not concordance search Jul 14, 2016

Maybe I'm a dummy but it looks like I only get that yellow info bar saying which TM the results are from in the Translation Results tab. I don't get the yellow info bar in the Concordance tab.

What I really want is to select a word, press F3 to run a concordance search and then be able to see which results come from which TM.

What am I missing?

Not sure what you're missing. I've just run a concordance search to check (in this screenshot you'll see my concordance hits are customised to bright green) and the yellow info bar is there:

No yellow info bar on mine Jul 14, 2016

Hi Emma, thanks for getting back to me.

I get that yellow info bar if I lookup the segment in the TM but if I run a concordance search with F3 there's no yellow info bar as you can see here.

Concordance

Maybe it's a feature in 2015 but not in 2014, or is there a switch I need to flick?

The yellow bar has always been there Jul 14, 2016

Jo

This is not a new feature of Studio 2015, it has always been there.

I suggest you go to "File - Options - Concordance Search Window" and click on "Reset to Defaults". If that does not help, try resetting your window layout (View - Reset window layout").

Still no dice Jul 14, 2016

Thanks Walter,

I tried resetting the window layout and resetting the Concordance window to default, still no yellow info bar in concordance search.

I get a yellow info bar in segment lookup but not in F3 concordance search.

This is really strange Jul 14, 2016

Can you post a screenshot of your Concordance Search window?

Looks like it's working now Jul 14, 2016

No idea what fixed it.
The wonders of a bit of fiddling.

Thanks for your help.
