Hi, I have a large number of shtml files for translation in Trados. The problem is, I don't seem to find a way for Trados to even read or analyze the files and thus cannot work with them.

Do you know how to convert shtml files into html format, or any other format for that matter which Trados can recognize?

Thanks all for your time, I know it always runs short.

change their extension Mar 16, 2005

change the extension of the files to *.htm or *.html, and Trados should then be able to recognize them and open them in tag editor.
Note, however, that if the internal markup in the files is very different from "regular" html or xhtml, you amy still having problems in translating them

Hello,

Move the files with drag and drop in the TagEditor window.
