When I had Word 2010 the wavy red line would appear promptly, but with the new word nothing happens. Any solution?

Is it just the wavy red line, or is there no spellchecker when you click F7?

I expect you've checked that the MS Word spellchecker is still enabled in File>Options>Editor>Spelling?
And "Check spelling as you type".

Then I'd try:
- switching to HunSpell to see if it works
- switching back to Word to see if it will kick in.
- running a repair of Studio 2015 through the Control Panel.

F7 does not have any effekt.
Repair? Will it influence my ongoing work?

It shouldn't. Make sure you close Studio before you run the repair.
However, personally, I never make any changes to Studio (updating new service packs, repairing, etc.) if I'm in the middle of a translation. Better safe than sorry

Since a number of updates have issues of compatibility, I frequently copy all target texts of Trados bilingual files into a blank MS Word page, spellcheck and repair back into Trados platforms. I find Word platforms are easier to work with spellchecking and editing of transtated texts.

Nothing helps Aug 31, 2016

After I finished my ongoing project I first updatet Studio 2015 and then run a repair. But still the MS Word spellchecker does not work nor does Studio open on the previous monitor but always on the laptop monitor, where I have to drag it to the big screen.
I simply wonder what those developers really do at SDL. The only issues I ever encounter remain but all the time they offer a new update. What on earth is the use of these updates?
The integrated Word spellchecker was the only advantage Studio had over Wordfast Pro. Now this is gone.

Log a support case. When Studio doesn't work properly you should get support from SDL, even if you don't have a support agreement.

Where can I find this repair function?
