MultiTerm 2015 will not open

I know that there are a couple of printer-related issues, so I checked - as often recommended - the registry after deinstalling the MultiTerm. Yet, all seemed to be fine as there were no Canon or HP entries to be deleted. Unfortunately, MultiTerm still does not start after its reinstallation - there isn't even an error message.

Any useful hint would be very much appreciated.
