If I get a "pretranslated" trados file, then I
translate the non pretranslated parts, how can I
differentiate between the pretranslated segments and
my translated segments in the final document.

Set the Source text color Apr 4, 2005

Hi Jis:
Ask your client to set the source text preference to a diffrent color BEFORE doing the pre-translation.

That will help you in knowing what were the pre-translated units.

Hi, Ricardo,

Thanks for the help. The translation company I work for(Venezuela, US branch) got the great help. I was helping her out.
In your translation business, please let me know if you need a Korean translator. I'll be glad to work for you company with the great comment on the Blue Board also.
