I am having a rather urgent problem. I have translated a large file using Studio 2015. When I save the target to Word, the target text is cut off somewhere in the middle of a sentence, and the rest (from the next sentence on) is source text. I have tried to save it again and to run the automatic translation, but the problem persists
Can anybody help quickly?
Thanks!
Cécile

Strangely, it worked now. I should have written into the forum earlier, this seemed to help

Something is obviously wrong, I have never experienced this and a screenshot might help. Or you might want to post on the SDL forum to get help, possibly from someone who can check out your files: https://community.sdl.com/solutions/language/translationproductivity/f/90 I am not sure SDL is still checking this forum.

Hello Cecile,
during the last work, I have also had this kind of problem. In my case it was an entire table which was a non editable one and so it was reproduced in the target word in English ( the source language). I have solved via a bit complex passage from different softwares to obtain an editable table. In case if need , I can explain it in details.
Hoping this can help.
Piero

Luckily, it worked. I guess these CAT are not always reliable, and in this case, there doesn't seem to have been any logical reason. This time, only a few sentences were missing (no idea why?), so I just copied them from the Studio file into the Word file.
Thanks anyway for your suggestions!

If Trados must skip a sentence at export for any reason, it will automatically insert the source text unless you have confirmed the segment (in that case, and only if segment confirmed, if the target was empty it will also be empty at export).
