Greetings. I have received a project where some .dict files were included together with the Studio package, but with no explanation on how to use them. My guess is that they are some sort of dictionary files for use in Studio, but I am not able to find any sensible place in Studio where I can attach them, and I only find information on .dic files in the Studio Help.

Could it be that these files are for 2017 and not for 2015 at all?

When I asked the project manager, I only got the answer that the .dict files were not that useful anyway with this specific project.

Can anyone help me, please?

Dear Roy,

.dict files are used by QA Distiller which is a QA tool. These files should ensure that the correct terminology was used in the translation.

I hope it helps
