Hi,

Does someone know if there is a an older version of TRADOS,(not a demo) that can be downloaded for free.
If there is such a possibility, I eill appreciate a link for the download.

Trados does not offer older versions for download.
A download per se wouldn't help you, as you need the license (in the form of a dongle, or a license key for the newer versions) to run in full mode.

Trados does not offer older versions for download.


This is absolutely correct. It is no use to install Trados Freelance 3.x in your computer as it will probably not cooperate with your OS or Word version.

However, you may want to take a look at Wordfast (http://www.wordfast.net) which is very similar to Trados and has a stronger competitiveness compared to Trados (pricing in Bulgaria: 90.00 EUR). The features are at an equal level and almost every agency will accept translated files under Wordfast.
