Trados 2015 keeps crashing: CANNOT VALIDATE SDL PLUG-IN

My Trados 2015 keeps crashing and I've rebooted, checked for updates, etc., but to no avail. It works for a while, than just disappears from my screen. I then get the message CANNOT VALIDATE SDL PLUG-IN. Any idea what I can do? Merci!

Still having problems Feb 20, 2017

I did what Paul Filkin recommended, i.e. put ".old" after the file name and restart Studio.
It worked for a while, but just crashed twice in 2 minutes.
Always the same error.
What could it be?

Where is REPAIR button? Feb 20, 2017

I can't find the REPAIR button on step 6 of the Resolution.

Repair in uninstall Feb 20, 2017

You should see a "repair" option after you click "uninstall", so rather than uninstalling the software, you let it do a repair.

Still no repair button. :( Feb 20, 2017

When I click on UNINSTALL, I don't have the REPAIR option. I tried with a previous version and it just uninstalled it!

Thanks, I did find the way to REPAIR my software yesterday.
No problems yet, so fingers crossed!

I realise it's been a while since you posted, but do you remember what you did? I've done all the recommended fixes and nothing has worked so far. still getting the Cannot validate plugin message, and can't run any batch tasks.
