The translation agency uses Wordfast Pro4 (and is not interested in owning more than one CAT tool to avoid having to convert the TM back and forth).
Some of the external translators use Trados (and since the volume of work for some of them is not that significant, some of them are unwilling to change/purchase another CAT tool).
My question is: Can the translation agency create projects/packages in WFP4 for that external translator to use in Trados? What kind of compatibility issues will I find with these two softwares and are there any solutions I can implement?
I know I can convert a Wordfast TM to TMX and open it in Trados. But the agency would rather not do this as it uses one single TM.
Any help is much appreciated! (most of the research I found dealt in the opposite direction. Opening trados files in Wordfast)
