Hi All,

I am using Trados 6.5.5.438 in combination with Microsoft Office 2003.

Recently the Trados menu disappeared in Word. The Trados toolbar is visible and working, the flagman appears but is non-functional.

I had the impression that the problem started when I installed Adobe Acrobat 7, but I'm not sure. I removed Acrobat and even complete removed and re-installed Office and Trados, but the problem remains the same.

Anyone any suggestions?

Just click twice. Apr 18, 2005

Click on the flagman twice. Should do the trick - always does for me.

Word - Tools - Customize - Toolbars Apr 18, 2005

Open Word and select Tools, Customize, Toolbars.
There you may customize the appearance of your Word toolbar by selecting the different boxes.
The Trados check box should be at the end of the list. Verify that it is selected, otherwise, do so.
Close the Customize window.
I hope this is it.

normal.dot was corrupted Apr 18, 2005

Thanks for your suggestions, but I found the answer in another thread.

After deleting the file normal.dot everything went back to normal.

The funny thing is, I completely removed and re-installed Office earlier. It looks, though, as if Office used back the old normal.dot.

Well, problem solved for me...
