Try Control + Number Oct 6, 2017

Ctrl + 1 inserts the first match, Ctrl + 2 inserts the second one and so on.

If that doesn't work, check your shortcuts: File - Options - Keyboard Shortcuts, and find "Select Match 1", "Select Match 2", etc. in the Action column to see which shortcuts are active in your system.

Strange Oct 6, 2017

Hi Angel,

That's very strange. Do you maybe have other software that uses Ctrl+1 for example and could be "hijacking" your shortcuts? To test this, I would suggest temporarily changing the shortcut to something else and testing it to see if that may be the case.

Match or fragments? Oct 8, 2017

Ctrl + does not work on fragment matches.

Ctrl + T? Oct 9, 2017

Isn't that what Ctrl + T does?

I.e. place the cursor on the segment you want to use in your target segment, then hit Ctrl + T.

The "number" in question is the number along the top of the keyboard, not on the number pad May 9

Hello,

I came across this post because I was having the same issue, but I've worked out the reason/solution:

In your shortcuts table:

Ctrl+1 means the Ctrl key + the number 1 key along the top of your keyboard
Ctrl+NumPad1 means the Ctrl key + the number 1 key on your number pad

Probably a bit late for the original poster, but perhaps this will help somebody else who comes looking for help in the futureicon_smile.gif
