Hi, everybdy !

I just tried to save a file a tranlstated under TRADOS (from a package), and saw this message appearing :
"Ce fichier a été créé à l'aide d'une définition de type de fichier qui n'existe pas sur votre système (SubRip v 1.0.0.0). Les fonctionnalités suivantes seront restreintes..."
I read on this forum that the problem may come from the file type, but I don't really understand what has to be done here?
If someone can help ?

Thank you !!

Cerise

Send the sdlxliff file Nov 15, 2017

Hi,
I guess the person who sent you the package has a version of SDL Trados Studio more recent than yours.
If you have already translated the file I don't think there is something you can do to sort out the problem.
You have to send to your customer the translated sdlxliff file. They will certainly manage to save that file in the original format.
