Dear members,
Greeting of the day

I want to know that SDL Trados and other CAT tools could be used in iPad 12.9.

Apple store Nov 28, 2017

I believe only software from Apple Store is able to run on Eyepad. SDL software is Windows only.

Most CAT tools demand a good screen and keyboard Nov 28, 2017

Even if it was possible to run Studio, memoQ or others on an iPad, I don't think I would recommend it.

Though come to think of it, it may be that it is possible to work in Memsource since it has a version which is working in the cloud. Or other CAT tools. I regretably do not know which others may be useful. There are XTM and Coach, which lets the agency give the translator a temporary license to work with on a per job basis.

But still: I would not think it would be a very pleasant working environment to work on an iPad anyway, for the reasons I've given in the subject field.

You may want to try The SDL Online Translation Editor Nov 28, 2017

Apparently The SDL Online Translation Editor is a downscaled version of Studio, and, therefore, not as powerful, but it may be it will work for you on the iPad. At least it may be worth trying it out.

If you go here: http://www.sdltrados.com/products/language-cloud/online-editor/ you can sign up for a free trial.
