Hi there,
I'm wondering if I can input a source text and completed target translation into Trados to create one Trados file (and therefore a TM) for a new text I need to translate that is very similar to the previous translation. I have been given the source and the target of the previous translation as two separate word documents.
Many thanks!

It´s called "alignment." There are a lot of threads about how to do this. You can do it in Studio 2014, but there might be other software programs that would do it for you better.

There's a free alignment tool called LF Aligner that does a much better job on aligning documents than the built-in aligner tool in Studio. Paul Filkin from SDL has even recommended it rather than their own tool.
