Hello
I've been asked to post-edit a machine translation in Trados 2017.
I have received the package and they asked me to send a return package back as well as a QA check log with false positives only (after correction of mistakes).
To do the post-editing, do I need to be in translation mode or review mode in Trados?
How do I create this QA log with false positives only please?
I'm quite new to this and would appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you so much.

False positives of what? Mar 27

Should the QA be performed using standard rules or should customised rules be used?

False positive Mar 27

are the typical ignored messages, I think, ie the warnings or error that aren't really errors.

Basicly, do the usual QA (verify) and correct whatever you need to correct.
After that you use the "batch tasks" button and run Verify files.
The report file wil place itself into the report folder in the package folder

This works for trados 2015 - possibly same for 2017

Enrfer, that worked on 2017 too, thank you for the explanations!
