Hi,

I went to this knowledge base article:

https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000005039

because I am getting the error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" - when saving an Excel file.

I don't understand what this means:
Change the order of the filters before creating / opening the excel file to be translated.

It is the last step and it is not explained.

I went to the file types in Trados and there are no filters.

My Excel file does not have a filter either.

Thank you for your help.
Patricia

Filters = file types Apr 17

Hi Patricia,

The word filters (file filters) is used interchangeably with file types, so what is suggested is that you change the order of the file types, which you do with the Move Up and Move Down buttons.

Hope that helps!
