Cannot see terms in Multiterm 2019...

...but I can see Termbase features (about/statistics/status) and term recognition works in Trados.
I get the following error messages when trying to open a Termbase : "Impossible to establish a connection to unknown SDL MultiTerm server" and then "Failed to activate view Termes".
It happens on all my Termbases and didn't use to happen before. I've tried to re-install Multiterm but with no effect... Any ideas ?

Go to your SDL Account... Jan 17

... and download both SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR1 and SDL MultiTerm 2019 CU1 Desktop Installer, if you have not done that yet. SDL updated both in the end of 2018.

Me too, but somehow the problem returned Jan 17

My computer was not reading Trados files. So, I had to uninstall and install it again in the order: 1) Studio 2019 with SR1 and 2) SDL MultiTerm 2019 CU1 Desktop Installer.

I don´t know why but it worked..

So I guess this is not the problem.
But I am going to try and re-install both Studio and then Multiterm...

Admin rights when installing Jan 17

Did you make sure to run the installers with admin rights (right click and Run as Administrator command)? This is really important.

After reinstalling both programmes, in the right order, using admin rights...

First to make sure your termbase is healthy open it as a standalone termbase using Multiterm.
If this function correctly,
Make sure you are using the "Use" command of the termbase settings in Studio. Go to "Project Setting" > "Termbases"
select the "Use" command (see attached screenshot)
select "File-based Multiterm Termbase"
this should open the Windows Explorer and enable you to locate the termbase and open it.

Solution to the problem Jan 22

Found thanks to SDL Community support. Here is the solution that worked for me :

Try resetting MultiTerm. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart MultiTerm:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTermXX
