Studio 2017 keeps crashing

Hello,


I'm trying to work on a project in Studio 2017 but it's being the most frustrating experience as Studio is literally freezing every time I try to save a segment. This way I won't be able to do any work today. I contacted the SDL support but received no answer as of today so I'm reaching out to you in case you encountered this issue and you know a workaround.

Fuzzy match repair May 14, 2019

Hi, have you tried disabling Fuzzy match repair, in the Proyect Settings tab of your project?
In my case, with large jobs, having this option enabled made Studio 2017 shut down unexpectedly every now and then.

Thanks for your reply. I did what you suggested and at least now it doesnt freeze randomly while I work but it still freezes when I try to save segments. Do you have any other suggestions?

My guess: File>Options>Editor>Autosuggest.
Try disabling the items you might not really need, as AutoSuggest Dictionaries - AutoText

Studio "misbehaves" when using all its features enabled.
Do tell us!

Hi Lorenzo,

After it crashed millions of times today, now Studio is not starting at all.

Do you know how can I contact Support? I'm waisting days trying to work out what's wrong with this software.

Go to your SDL account page.
Support & Education > Support > Licensing and Installation Help.
After last click, a new window opens, where you can log a Support case.
It was useful once I needed back with Studio 2011, they replied in less than 24 hours.
As you surely know, you are entitled to free support about Installation and Licensing issues.
