Dear all,

Could somebody please tell me if it's possible to switch target and source languages for an existing TM in Trados Workbench, Freelance Edition (version 6.5.5.438)?

I have a customer for which I regularly translate from Dutch into English and now I have a job for that same customer from English into Dutch. Of course I would like to use my Dutch-English TM to help me with the terminology.

Suggestion: inverting target and source TM languages Oct 18, 2005

Hello,
Here is my suggestion how to invert target and source languages in TM:
1. Open your TM
2. Export it to a text file (in the FILE menu)
3. create a new TM and set the language direction to the opposite of the exported file
4. Import your old memory
5. Reorganize (in the File menu).
I hope it works. Success!
