Hi everybody,
I am using Trados 6.5, and when I clean a document with text boxes, as for example one with titles in pictures, those segments are "skipped" by Trados. That is, I need to go manually and delete the source text there in order to get a clean copy.
Do you know what to do in order to have the whole document cleaned?
Thanks a lot!

Sabrina

I encountered similar problems serveral times before. I simply used WF to clean it up and reimported the TM into TRADOS.

Thanks a lot JianJun, but I'm afraid I do not have Wordfasticon_frown.gif
I wonder if anyone knows of any other possibility to do that...

Upgrade to Trados 7 and use the Word macro for cleaning Nov 2, 2005

As the cleanup process in Workbench requires the conversion of the complete document int rtf and then back, it is IMO more advisable to use the Word macro instad anyway.

In Trados 7 this macro has been greatly improved and cleans ALL contents in document.

Using the macro from Trados 6.5 you will need to let it run in each text box, footer and header separately. But still in this way you can clean text in boxes, while Workbench does NOT do that.

Regards
Jerzy
