Moving local termbase - Multiterm 7

I am using Trados 7 with Multiterm 7. Multiterm 7 only uses local termbases stored in a specific directory on the hard disk. I would like to have this termbase stored in another directory. And have Multiterm use that directory as the standard location of the local termbases.
To which extent is that possible?
Thanks a lot.

Save termbase def, export and re-create Nov 11, 2005

Hi 7of9,
You could move the termbase files and change the corresponding paths in the termbase list contained in MTMaster.mdb - the risk is that you may lose access to your termbases if you make an erroneous entry.

The safer way is to save your termbase definition, and to export all entries, to be able to simply re-create the termbase in another directory.

Bear in mind that keeping termbases in the default location permits to transfer them very easily (to another computer, for instance).

Best, Ralf
