Hi! I'm translating a converted FrameMaker document and I have the following problem with Trados:

In a string like this:
I-001 Entrepôts - Mise à jour

The tags have a style called tw4winInternal and the words (Entrepôts - Mise à jour) have a style called Normal + Top: (Single solid line, Gray-25%, 0,75 pt Line width), Bottom.

When I start translating, I begin by inserting the first tag, but when I go on writing, my sentence doesn't change style, i.e. I go on writing in tw4winInternal (needless to say I can't go back and change styles every time I come accros a tag!).

I have changed the styles in Word, but it doesn't change... any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Ooops, the tags don't show in my posting, but they are supposed to be before and after I-001

1.You must have all fonts when converting in to frame maker
2.You must convert all framemaker files to mif
3.You the must set trados to support language that you are working with

Hello,

best would be to use the TagEditor for tagged files.

If you must use word, you can insert the tags after writing the first word.

Word write text in the same format like the char before.

Regards

Hans
