Hi,

I am using Trados 6.5 T-Window for PowerPoint, but cannot get through a problem.

On my Asus Notebook, when lanching T-Window, a little while after the PowerPoint window appear I get a pop up window with the title bar that reads "Fatal error" and in the window itself the message: "Unable to continue".

I tried to get around this problem using my other Desktop PC. On this other machine, T-Window for PowerPoint does load correctly but, after I open the file I have to translate and click on the Trados icon on the menu Bar in order to open the Trados icons I get an error window whose title bar reads: "Unable to continue" and in the window itself the message: "This presentation contains unavailable fonts" and I connot proceed with the translation.

Could anybody help, please.

TIA,

FRancesco

Why use T-Window? Feb 28, 2006

Hi Francesco,
The unavailable fonts issue has been discussed in previous threads - but why would you want to use T-Window? If you have T6.5, you should be able to use TagEditor for PPT files.

Which version are you using (full version number including the 'build number', please - go to Help - About... to find out)?

Best regards,
Ralf
