Please advice what and how should I set in WinAlign while aligning 2 files: one Polish (source) which is well formatted with styles, etc. and the other English (target) with rubbish styling. I would like to "transfer" source file styling to the target file and at the same time ignore its (target) file formatting. The files have lots of emmbeded graphics and about 70 pages. Thanks in advance for your help.

Remove all formatting from both texts Aug 3, 2006

This will be the easiest way to get the text aligned.
The best TM you can get is one without ANY formatting.
Formatting is done usually afterwards - either manually (if your text is not formatted properly), or it will be done automatically in Word with well formatted text.
For DTP you do not have any formatting in TM, just TAGs, which represent formatting.
