Hi,

I would like to use with Trados a SDL Translation Memory (.mdb).

It is urgent and I cannot wait till Monday to ask the client to provide me an export in format tmx/ txt or soever.

There is any possibility to export this .mdb TM to Trados?

Regards
Clara

Yes, it's possible Dec 8, 2006

Hi,

Start SDL Maintain, open the SDL TM, and go to the menu option TM - Export - Trados.

This way you'll get a Trados TXT TM.

Now, start the Trados Workbench, create or open a previously created Trados TM, and import the TM mentioned above. That's it.

Hope this helps you out.

Ramon

Look for a TMX export Dec 8, 2006

... in TM menu entry ("export a Translation memory") in SDLX. Use the TMX file thus created to create a new TM in Trados workbench. (one of the ways to do it - see previous post).
