If you have Word 2003, try Tools-Macro-Macros-TemplateProject.tw4winClean.Main. (All done in Word, Trados doesn't need to be opened for this to work). It usually cleans up all OK, overriding all possible errors. But be sure before to make a backup copy, otherwise you'll loose the unclean file. Uldis, you are a lifesaver. After struggling to use TW's clean-up program with large Word files containing TOC and tons of images (and failing every time), using that little macro cleaned the file effortlessly in 2 seconds. For all: Uldis' solution also works in Word 2002, although the macro path/name is slightly different. I found this in the Trados TW list: In Word 2007 under Vista: Go to the "View" tab (or "Developer" if you have activated it), click on the far right "Macros" button, select the macro from the list and click "Run". In prior versions of Word and Windows go to "Tools" - "Macro" - "Macros", select the macro and click "Run". All this of cours while you have the offending document open. Works like a charm....
