I have read all the threads in the forum...and maybe it has to do with some fonds that need to be suppressed such as Arabic etc.

When I installed Metatexis it worked, but Trados comes up with two brackets and thats it...

iii) where do brackets show up
iv) what kind of brackets

Is it the operating system or Office 2003 causing the problem? Dec 22, 2006

On my old computer I have the Windows XP operating system in English and installed the French version of Office 2003. I wonder if that is causing the problem. I get a message in French that the Macro has not been enabled and that I should lower the security level. However, this will not do the trick.

Incitentally, I get the same message for my Metatexis Programm.

I forgot to mention that. These brackets appear when I try to open the first translation unit. Trados 7.1 freelance.
