Hi

I just cant find .bak files... After cleaning up the translation I have just a target file (.doc) and a file in tradostag form which is a bilingual file. But where can I find the .bak file then?

No .bak file with TagEditor May 3, 2007

Hi Aleksandra,
You did not specify the source file format, but since you mention .ttx I assume you're working with TagEditor - in which case there is no .bak file. You only need a .bak file because there is no separate bilingual format when working directly in Word.

HTH, Ralf

Sorry not .ttx but .rtf May 3, 2007

Sorry I've looked at the wrone file. The bilingual file for this document that I cant find the .bak file for is in the .rtf format. The translation was made directly in Word.
Does it mean that now instead of .bak file you recieve the .rtf one (cause they have basicaly the same contact - both are bilingual files)?

.rtf should have a .bak May 3, 2007

Hi again,
If you're working with a normal RTF file in Word, the cleanup process delivers a .bak file. Are you sure you cleaned up the right file, and the cleanup process was completed without errors?

Best regards,
Ralf
