Is it possible to make a macro within Word that utilises macros from Trados? I'm thinking of one that goes:

1. Get Translation
2. Set/Close Next Open/Get

[Win Xp Home; Office XP; Trados 6.5F]

It should be possible, but I've done it using Trados 7. Try this:

Sub YourMacroName()
Application.Run MacroName:="TemplateProject.tw4winOpenGet.Main"
Application.Run MacroName:="TemplateProject.tw4winSetCloseOpenGet.Main"
End Sub

where "YourMacroName" is a placeholder for any name that you will assign to your macro, and you need to know the name of any Trados macro that you want to combine.

For using the macro routinely it is convenient, of course, to assign it to a keyboard combination.
Better choose one not already in use by Word or Trados.
