When I simply create a project, convert the files and open the language pairs in editor, SDLX segments after "." (full stop).
It does not segment at tabulator marks or double points ":".
Is there somewhere a switch where I can change these rules?

Another annoying feature is, that when I double-click on a word, the selection is extended also to characters in front and after the word.
If there is XXX-YYYYY-ZZZZ and I double click on YYYY, the selection is -YYYY-. If there is a white space after the word, the space is not selected. I would like it to behave like Word, where double-clicks do not extend to signs outside, but to the following space.

Heinrich

Concerning the segmentation, it sometimes easier to put a non-breaking space (geschütztes Leerzeichen) after the abbreviation points in your text before creating a project. I know, it's not an elegant solution...

About the double clicking, under Tools / Options... / Format Paint you can check/uncheck the options "Double click word to include punctuation" and "Double click word to include trailing white space". I hope it helps.

Thanks, LMCO! Jun 3, 2007

I learned already to use Trados segmentation rules in the Project Wizard. That helps a lot. And I'll try those settings for double clicking.
