For instance, I got used to CtrlA for the next fuzzy segment in Word. In TagEditor I have to jump out to Ctrl Num+ or whatever it is - its like asking for a single-hand octave on a piano every second beat.

This issue has been discussed several times on this forum... Aug 5, 2007

Unless the newest versions of TagEditor do admit customisation of keyboard shortcuts (which I doubt, but do not know for sure), the solution seems to lie in using one of those"Windows macro" programs - in principle, you can program (or record) a keyboard shortcut to run a sequence of keys. After that you can type Ctrl+A to run any sequence of keys you program into it (by the way, I use this particular shortcut so so often for "select all" that using it for anything else would be rather hard to imagine for me, but if you feel like it...)

P.S. I prefer EZ Macros, but you can find quite a few of similar ones, I believe.

I'm afraid there is no customization in Tageditor Aug 5, 2007

unless you use a Windows key remapping program.
As such program might also influence the other system behaviour, I do not use any, but I know some colleagues, who do. Very probably even someone of them will answer here.

...Oh well, I thought I could avoid it

...As such program might also influence the other system behaviour...
...which is why I hoped for a better way to do it.

Thanks to both!

Ill probably post something on how I went about it.
