T-Window for Clipboard? | Aug 9, 2007 |
I guess you did it in tageditor and cannot Save Target As...
But you already have your translation in the database, so you might want to start T-Window for Clipboard, and go through the cells of your original Excel file, copying each cell by CTRL+C, retrieving the translation in T-Window for Clipboard and pasting it back into Excel.
Hope this helps.

Make sure the source excel file and the ttx are in the same folder and have the same names. Then "save target" and only then change the file name of the target excel file.

Take a new copy of the file - probably from the email where you got it from first. Save it in a new folder. Open in tag editor. Save the file as ttx. Translate to fuzzy - it's all in the TM, right?. Save as ttx, save target. That should work.

in which case, if the deadline is past, confess to the customer and ask for their help to resolve the issue.
Sorry I can't offer any other suggestions.

Copy the Excel Document (i.e. select all text and copy) and paste it in Word. Translate this document with your memory and reverse the copying process after cleaning (copy the Word column and paste it in an Excel file). | | |

Tag verification plug-in | Aug 9, 2007 |
Perhaps you have a tag problem and you should try checking the tags at document level. I haven't done this myself but a tag verification plug-in is available in TagEditor (TRADOS Generic Tag Verifier).
To activate a plug-in:
1. From the Tools menu, select Plug-ins. The Plug-ins dialog box is displayed.
2. From the list of plug-ins, select the plug-in that you want to activate and click OK.
