Hi all,

I'm running Win XP, Word 2003 and Trados 2006.
Sometimes I can spellcheck within TagEditor using the spellchecking files from Office.

But sometimes, TagEditor loses the mapping of these files, resulting in an error message "Spellchecking file [filename] couldn't be found" or smth similar...

The problems with spellchecking in TagEditor has been up before:

Does anyone have a more recent solution to the problem?

TIA;

Jan

Don't open Word while working with TagEditor Aug 23, 2007

Spellchecking works fine with TagEditor for me, as long as I don't use Word at the same time. Then an error message appear.

In TagEditor choose Tools-Plug ins
and select "Word Spelling Checker"
Then choose Options-Spelling
and select "Check spelling when closing segment"

Edith
