Dear collegues,
We all surely know how hard it is to generate a TM by aligning two or more documents (in my case, around 3.500 htm files...). Therefore my question: Is there any possibility to do it an easier way?
I already analyzed all source documents (TW), then exported all unknown segments to a (German) TM. Looking at its source code German and English segments are always the same.
Then I processed all target documents the same way.

What I've got now are two TMX files, one German, the other English, but inside of each the segments are German-German and English-English.
I'm stuck somehow! It there any workaround? Thank you in advance!

using PlusToyz (or something equivalent)
see URL on my profile.
PS: and of course you convert then what you have kept of 2x2 columns back into TMX (or bilingual txt).
If that does not do it, let me know.

There is an unofficial build of OmegaT that its creator claims can align documents by simply putting the documents in two folders (in the /source/ and /target/ folders). Join the OmegaT yahoogroup and read the past week's posts.
I haven't tried it yet.
