How to calculate wordcount for a Word file with Trados?

Hello, now I want to calculate wordcount for a Word file with Trados, that is, to work out total wordcount, fuzzy, match rate for it. Could anybody give any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

go to Help > Help topics; on the tab Index choose Analyse command. Read it carefully.

Trados Workbench - Analyse Sep 30, 2007

Hi, Carol

If it's not too late, look what you have to do in order to analyse a word file with Trados:

1. Open the Translation Memory.
2. In the Workbench, go to Tools menu and select Analyse
3. Select Add and browse to the document you want to analyse
4. Click OK

Trados will analyse the document and display the results with the matches in a Log file, located by default in the same folder as the TM.

2. In the Workbench, go to Tools menu and select Analyse
3. Select Add and browse to the document you want to analyse
4. Click OK

Trados will analyse the document and display the results with the matches in a Log file, located by default in the same folder as the TM.
Before step 4, you can select Log file anc change the location where thar file so that you can find it easier afterwards.
