I am a beginner with Trados. when I go to clean up a file I have worked on, I locate it through browsing, then click clean up. I get an error message with a number something like 5004 telling me that the directory has been moved. I did not move anything however.

So I deleted all the memories and started with a brand new memory in a brand new directory and I am having the same problem.
What to do?

Thanks

Cleanup dialog Dec 2, 2007

Tools > Cleanup. Then there should be a Log File button - drop down and text box.

I can't find it. I searched. What is the best way to reinstate the log file. I have a directory called Projects in progress. After i finish the tranlsation I put the project I worked on in another directory. but I do that after I try to clean the file and I can't clean it because the system can't find something, I guess the log file.

I need to start fresh and have the log file reinstalled. Can you guide me through the steps in detail.
thanks so much.

Just choose a location Dec 2, 2007

(pressing "Browse") and then choose a name for the file.
You can proceed without one too by clearing the text box completely.
