Hi all,

my question is in the heading - how to do it? I've googled for it, but find only the opposite solutions - converting MT5 into MT7.
So if anyone has done it, all recommendation are most welcome.

Kind regards,
Margot-Helena

Open Termbank Catalogue and export it Dec 11, 2007

Just export the termbase in MT 5 format. The appropriate filter definition is already there.

Export works, but import not Dec 11, 2007

The export to MT5 works fine, but the import in Multiterm 5 doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions or ideas?

MT7 exports MT5-compatible export in Unicode. MT5 cannot import Unicode file, so you have to convert the TXT file to Windows codepage. Make sure you have created the appropriate entry structure - you may have problems if the import/export structure differs from your termbase definition.

Can you please advise, how do I convert the TXT file to Windows codepage?
