I'm using SDL Trados 2007 SP2 and all was well, until one day by starting the Workbench, it crashed (windows serious problem, this application will close....) and I was never able to start it again. I deinstalled and reinstalled all Trados, but there is no change, it continues to crash.
Did anyone experience this and/or has anyone any ideas? My feeling is that the deinstall is not deinstalling proprely, something must stay (in the registry) that is still the old configuration and keeps crashing the system.

Sounds like a Windows problem rather than Trados.
Your registry got messed up, maybe by installing another third-party application. It could be pretty much anything that you downloaded or updated.

The draconian solution is to reinstall Windows, or if you have System Restore activated, move back to an earlier restore point.
