Would it be possible to change the link, so that when I go to the main horizontal navigation menu (top right on the screen), select Community, and then Forums (the first option) the page that opens would be the Most Recent Posts page:
http://www.proz.com/forum/categories/recent-recent.html

Currently when I do this, the Translation Art and Business forum appears:
http://www.proz.com/forum/categories/translation_art_business-translation.html

I don't see why the Translation Art and Business is the default forum, as that is just one of the many categories of forums.

Both KudoZ and the Jobs page opens with the most recent posts, so I think it is only logical to do the same for the forums.
I don't know about others, but I ALWAYS go to the Most Recent Posts on the Forum page, and it would be nice to save that extra click and load time.

Thanks
Katalin

So do I.

Dedicating half an hour to Most Recent Posts in the morning is a bit like reading the "ProZ newspaper" every day Yes, Most Recent Posts should definitely be the "home forum" when clicking on the Forums menu.

Thanks for bringing this up again, Katalin.

Katalin expressed it perfectly! I'm only adding my 2 (5?) cents because this is a required field.

Some forums do not show on the Most Recent Posts page ... May 9, 2009

I've noticed that posts to the 'Polls' and 'Articles' Forums do not appear, am I right? Any reason?
