For the first time today, my forum posting did not appear, and I received a message saying that it had to be vetted first. Of course, it could be a technical error. I am a paying member, and have had my ID verified a long time ago - so the rule in that regard cannot apply. I would be quite interested to know whether the message I received is a technical error or part of a new policy. Astrid P.S. This one did appear immediately now, but my post... Astrid's postings doesn't require any vetting and I too can't see the mentioned threads- blank pages only. (Moderators should see them, if they were unvetted or hidden.) Reported bug | Apr 22, 2006 |
Hi The invisible threads are related to a new option when you send a Support Request. There's the option "Make a suggestion" and when somebody uses it it goes to an Admin forum for Staff, only visible to them, but the title remains visible in the Home page. It has been reported already. It has been reported already. About Astrid needing vetting, it happens sometimes that people who don't need vetting for forums (VIDed or members) are blocked automatically by the system because in their post there is forbidden name (either software, competitive site...). Never for a longtime, normally, unless there's something against forum rules. Claudia ▲ Collapse | | | My post was quite neutral in language | Apr 22, 2006 |
There were no names or references of any sort in the posting concerned - only ordinary English words. However, bugs do occur sometimes, and I suppose that is quite natural since the site is so sophisticated and complex these days. I am sure we do not mind a few bugs, if they are the by-product of an interesting and varied site. Astrid | | | It is an error | Apr 23, 2006 |

Hi Heidi Is it this posting? http://www.proz.com/post/463430#463430 You didn't need vetting for this one, so I think it could be a glitch or an automatic block that happens with some words (although I can't say which words can be in your posting).
