G'day everyone

Is it possible to do a forum search on the English forums only? I'm getting many hits from forums in languags I do not speak...

Thanks

Another good idea from you. Feb 27, 2007

Yes, quite a lot could be done in making forum searches more selective.
It is maybe worth mentioning that your results in other languages could give you words meaning something else altogether. E.g. "Gift" in English might give you hits in German and the Scandinavian languages, but "Gift" in those languages means poison.

Poison to Denmark? Feb 27, 2007

Many years ago, my girlfriend (now my wife) sent a Christmas present by post to a Danish friend, and marked it "Gift". The Danish family were a bit shocked until they discovered the meaning of the word in English.

Good suggestion. I have logged it to the todo list.
