Excel and PP have their own proprietary format and they are not any of the tagged formats that you mention.

Are you working with Trados? Feb 20, 2004

The file types you mentioned are proprietary, that is, they are separate file types and cannot by easily read by other presentation/spreadsheet programs.

On the other hand, the current version of Trados can translate these files using TagEditor. Perhaps this is causing the confusion.
