Trados Story Collector May 1, 2002

Trados 5 Team Edition comprises a Quark XTension called \"Story Collector\" (don\'t know about Freelance, but I suppose it does, too). This tools is installed under Quark; it exports the \"stories\" into a tagged document format that works in the Trados TagEditor. The finished translation can then be re-imported into the original .qxd file. I have only tested it using the 4.1 Passport version of Quark.

docConsult in Cologne (http://www.docconsult.de) offers a similar tool called CopyFlow.

Yes, it does. Until now I have not tried this feature for Quark, since I actually don´t have Quark on my machine.

The same tool is offered for PageMaker too, and I have worked several times with it - it works pretty good.

But TRADOS can only be used with a Windows-PC, so for those working with MAC I don´t know the right solution.

Kind regards
